The Identify Journey

The Identify journey started 10 years ago, under the name of Web Direct. The humble beginnings found us as a little black and white text advert proudly placed in the ‘Wakefield Express’ – how times have changed.

We work with some of our first ever clients to this day on their evolving digital projects, showcasing what a strong partnership with the right digital agency can achieve. We’d love you join us on this journey in achieving ambitious goals and creating memorable customer experiences through effective websites, clever apps and strategic digital marketing.

The story behind Identify

From small things

Identify started out just over 10 years ago
(under the name of “Web Direct”)...

After a few small “3 page” websites, Web Direct attracted its biggest client so far and was commissioned to develop an e-commerce website for a local lock and key centre (Multi Point Locks).

Did you know?

Diverse team that we are; at age 14 Liam built his first website. Meanwhile Sam was deep into his Warhammer phase and Josh had just turned 5!

Do I need a good Google Pagespeed score?

This story starts back in 2014. Identify had just started to find its feet, we’d expanded into a bigger office, acquired some sizable projects and a couple of quality retainers, the Arctic Monkeys hadn’t started doing awkward lounge music, things were going well.

Hey there, couldn’t help noticing you’re using Internet Explorer

That’s great and all, and we commend you for pushing through with it. Unfortunately we no longer offer support for IE; it hasn’t received a major update since 2015 and Microsoft are dropping support for it later in the year.

If you’re using Windows 10 and want to stick with a built in browser, please consider switching to Edge. Or, if you really want to enjoy the internet properly we strongly recommend downloading Google Chrome here.
