Resincoat Ltd

Hi Chris,

This is outreach — just being straight about it. We're a Wakefield-based agency and we came across Resincoat while looking at ecommerce-led manufacturers in the area.

The reason I reached out is what we could see on the website — the platform caught our attention — PrestaShop is a capable starting point, but it has real limits when a business reaches the kind of complexity Resincoat is operating at.

What we found — The business

Resincoat has built a strong direct-to-consumer brand for a specialist product category

You manufacture epoxy and polyurethane floor coatings, damp-proofing products and resin bound systems in the UK. Selling B2C and B2B direct, with what looks like a growing export operation (you have a dedicated Head of Export). 8,700+ Instagram followers and a stack of Trustpilot reviews tells us the brand has real traction.

For a UK manufacturer selling complex technical products across retail, trade and international channels — that's a meaningful operation.

What caught our attention — The platform

The site runs on PrestaShop — a solid platform for getting started, but one that tends to show its limits as the operation grows

The site is on PrestaShop — a platform that works well in the early stages, but which tends to hit its limits when B2C, trade and export channels all need to run from the same back-end with proper integration. The stock levels are visible on the product pages, which suggests some inventory connection, but there's no obvious ERP or order management integration sitting behind it.

When you're managing B2C orders, trade accounts and export orders through the same platform, without proper integration, the manual overhead tends to grow faster than the business can absorb.

Positive signal

Active Trustpilot reviews and strong social presence confirm a real, growing customer base

The January 2026 Trustpilot reviews show an active business with customers buying regularly. The platform improvements we'd focus on are the kind that reduce manual overhead as volume grows — not rebuilding what's working.

What we could help with

  • Platform rebuild — WooCommerce or custom, built to handle B2C, trade and export from the same back-end
  • Stock and order management integration — real-time inventory sync across channels, no double-keying
  • Trade account functionality — pricing tiers, credit accounts and order history for B2B customers
  • Export order management — separate workflows for international orders, currency handling and shipping
  • Product configurator — helping customers pick the right product spec online reduces inbound queries
  • Accounting integration — Xero or Sage connected to order flow without manual export
About us

Who we are

We're Identify Digital, based here in Wakefield. We build ecommerce platforms for manufacturers, suppliers and distributors who need their online store properly connected to the rest of the business. Our differentiator is the integration work — connecting ecommerce to ERP, stock, accounting and order management so the platform actually reduces work rather than creating more of it.

If the platform is something you've been thinking about, the easiest next step is a quick call — no obligation.
