ARC Training UK

ARC Training (UK)

Hi Matthew,

This is outreach -- I'll be honest about that. We build training management platforms for providers who've grown past spreadsheets and email chains.

I've put this together so you can see what we actually looked at before getting in touch.

Context -- What you've built

30 years delivering specialist industrial training -- on-site, at your centres, and internationally

Established since 1994 and accredited across RTITB, IPAF, Nuco and AITT, ARC Training delivers forklift, access platform, crane, heavy plant and first aid training from centres in King's Lynn, Norwich, Peterborough and Ipswich -- and on-site at client premises anywhere in the UK, Channel Islands, mainland Europe and Asia.

That means two distinct service models running in parallel: scheduled courses at fixed venues (with fixed cohort sizes and available dates), and bespoke on-site visits (where trainer availability, client premises, equipment provision and course content all need to align).

Signal -- Admin complexity

Coordinating trainers, clients, venues and certificates across two service models is a real overhead

When you're running on-site visits, someone is managing trainer diaries, client confirmations, equipment checks, pre-course paperwork, and certificate generation after the fact. Multiply that across dozens of clients and the admin burden grows quickly.

Your website doesn't show an online booking system or delegate portal for corporate clients -- which in our experience usually means bookings are handled by email and phone, with certificates and records managed manually. If that's still the case, a platform built around your specific workflows could save a significant amount of time.

Positive -- The value of your accreditations

Multi-accreditation sets you apart from most providers

Holding RTITB, IPAF, Nuco and AITT accreditations simultaneously is unusual and represents a genuine competitive advantage. Corporate clients who need multiple categories trained in a single visit can come to you rather than coordinating several providers. A platform that surfaces this capability clearly -- and makes corporate booking straightforward -- would help you win more of that work.

What a platform for ARC might include

  • Online course calendar -- public and corporate booking, per venue and course type
  • Trainer scheduling -- availability management, on-site visit coordination
  • Delegate records -- course history, certificate status, renewal reminders
  • Certificate generation -- automatic on completion, branded, downloadable
  • Corporate client portal -- view bookings, download certificates, manage delegates
  • Compliance tracking -- card expiry, refresher due dates, audit trails
  • Billing and invoicing -- per course, per delegate, or retainer arrangements

We offer a paid Training Systems Audit -- half day, produces a process map, gap analysis, and system blueprint. If you go ahead with a build, the audit fee comes off the cost.
