Your own platform.
Built from scratch.
Ready in weeks.

If your current platform doesn't fit the way your business operates, rather than switching to another off-the-shelf product and hoping for the best, we build custom job & project management platforms from scratch for UK trade, construction and maintenance businesses - with no templates, no per-user licensing, and no lengthy implementation projects - delivering exactly what your team needs in just weeks.

Your own platform. Paid monthly.
No per-user fees.

We build you a new platform, just for your business, and you pay a flat monthly fee to use it. No licences per engineer. No price hikes when you hire. For teams of 10 or more users, it's often comparable or cheaper than what you're paying now.
Below that, off-the-shelf usually makes more sense and we'll tell you honestly.

The Digital Platform Agency for Job & Project Management

A proper job & project management platform.
Built from scratch for your business.

We build custom operations platforms for field service, trade, construction and maintenance businesses across the UK. Everything you'd expect from a modern job & project management system — scheduling, jobs, mobile app for your engineers,
customer records, quoting, invoicing, compliance, health and safety, RAMS, reporting —
all built from scratch to fit how your business actually runs.

Nothing is configured from a template.
Nothing is shared with another company.
Nothing forces you to change how your team works to fit the software
If you've got a process that works, we build the software around it.
If you've got a process that doesn't, we'll help you fix it before we start building.

Why job & project management businesses are moving to bespoke

Off-the-shelf platforms made sense when custom software took two years and cost £100,000 to build. That's no longer the case. Here's what's actually changed.

Software that fits, instead of a business that bends image
Software that fits, instead of a business that bends

Most job & project management businesses start on off-the-shelf software because it's faster to get running. Two or three years in, the cracks show — workflows you can't quite model, reports you can't quite build, integrations you can't quite afford. Bespoke means the software matches your business on day one, and keeps matching as the business changes.

Costs that scale with your business, not your headcount image
Costs that scale with your business, not your headcount

Off-the-shelf platforms charge per user per month, which means every engineer you hire makes your software bill bigger. Bespoke on a flat monthly fee means you can grow the team without growing the software cost. For teams of 10 or more, the maths often works out cheaper outright — and it stops getting more expensive every year.

Built and delivered in weeks, not years

This is the part that's genuinely new. AI lets us build custom platforms in 8 to 16 weeks, not the 12 to 24 months bespoke used to take. Same proper development, same proper testing, same proper support — just built faster than the old model allowed.

We're not an AI startup
figuring this out as we go.

We've been building custom platforms for UK businesses for over 12 years.
AI is the tool that makes bespoke work economically at this speed.
The craft underneath it is the same.

Everything you'd expect

from a job & project management platform.
 Built for your business.

The capabilities of off-the-shelf platforms, without the compromises. Here's what goes into a typical build.

Scheduling & dispatch

Drag-and-drop scheduling, engineer availability, route planning, reactive and planned work in one view.

Job management

Jobs from booking to sign-off. Custom workflows for your trades, your sites, and your customers.

Planned preventative maintenance

Service contracts, PPM schedules, and recurring work planned months in advance.

Mobile app for field teams

Built for how your engineers work. Jobs on the go, offline sync, photos, signatures, timesheets.

CRM & customer records

Every customer, every site, every job, in one place. Searchable, filterable, yours.

Contract management

Service level agreements, contract pricing, renewal dates, and coverage tracked per customer.

Quoting & estimating

Quick quotes for reactive work. Detailed estimates for projects. Templated or built fresh.

Invoicing & billing

Raise invoices from completed jobs, link to Sage or Xero, chase unpaid work automatically.

Customer portal

Self-service booking, job updates, invoices and documents. Branded as yours, not ours.

Subcontractor management

Jobs allocated to subbies, rates tracked, compliance documents held, paid on completion.

Reporting & dashboards

The numbers that actually run your business — not 400 generic reports you'll never use.

Compliance & certificates

Certificates issued automatically, renewal reminders, full audit trail for inspections.

Stock & materials

Van stock, depot stock, job-level materials, reordering thresholds, and cost tracking.

Health & Safety / RAMS

Risk assessments and method statements for every job, signed off in the app, audit-ready.

Integrations

Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, vehicle tracking, accounting, calendar systems, and whatever else you rely on.

None of this is a feature list we promise to configure. It's the capability we build into your platform, shaped to how your business actually runs.

Delivered in weeks,
not years

Bespoke software used to take 12 to 24 months to build. That's no longer the case. Most of our job & project management platforms go live within 8 to 16 weeks, depending on scope — and your team is using it from day one.

1 .
Discovery (1 to 2 weeks)

We spend proper time with you, your ops team, and your engineers. What works in your current setup, what doesn't, and what you actually need the software to do. You get a clear plan, a fixed scope, and an honest timeline before we write a line of code.

2 .
Build (6 to 12 weeks)

Our in-house team — project managers, designers, and developers — builds the platform with you involved throughout. Weekly progress calls, working previews at every stage, and a small team who know your business by name.

3 .
Switch and support (1 to 2 weeks, then ongoing)

Training for your team. A managed switch-over so your business doesn't miss a beat. Once you're live, you've got a small team who know your business by name, backed by a proper support system so nothing gets lost. Improvements, extensions and new features are quoted as you need them, so you're only ever paying for work you've asked for.

Timelines depend on scope. Complex integrations, large teams, or multi-site rollouts take longer. We'll give you an honest timeline in discovery — not a best-case figure you'll never hit.

Questions job & project
management buyers ask us

Why would I move from off-the-shelf software to a bespoke platform?

The honest answer is: maybe you wouldn't. If off-the-shelf fits your business and the cost works for your team size, stay.

The businesses we build for are usually the ones who've outgrown off-the-shelf — workflows that don't quite fit, reports they can't get out, integrations that cost extra, or per-user costs scaling faster than headcount. If that sounds familiar, a custom platform is worth a conversation. If it doesn't, off-the-shelf is probably still the right answer.

Can a bespoke platform really match what off-the-shelf does?

Yes. Everything on our capability grid above — scheduling, jobs, mobile, CRM, compliance, RAMS, reporting, PPM, contracts, integrations — is standard in what we build.

The difference isn't feature parity, it's fit. Off-the-shelf platforms have a lot of features you'll never use, and don't have the specific ones your business actually needs. We build what you need, and we don't build what you don't.

How can a bespoke platform cost less than off-the-shelf?

Two reasons. One, we don't charge per user. Off-the-shelf platforms typically charge £70-£100 per user per month, so a team of 20 engineers is £1,400-£2,000 a month before anything else. We charge a flat monthly fee that doesn't scale with headcount.

Two, AI-assisted development lets us build custom platforms in weeks rather than months, which brings the total cost of ownership down to a level that used to only be possible with off-the-shelf. For teams of 10 or more, it often works out cheaper outright.

How long will switching actually take?

Most of our job & project management platforms go live within 8 to 16 weeks from the start of discovery, depending on scope. Complex integrations, large teams, or multi-site rollouts take longer, and we'll give you an honest timeline before any work starts.

The switch-over itself is managed so your operation doesn't miss a beat — your existing platform stays running until the new one is ready.

What happens to our existing data?

Most of our clients migrate their historical data from their existing platform. Depending on the complexity, we either handle the migration ourselves as part of the build, or scope it as an additional piece of work.

Either way, we'll be honest about what's involved and what it'll cost before we start.

What's the ongoing commitment?

The platform is leased on a flat monthly fee. That covers hosting, infrastructure, security, and a baseline level of support. Improvements, extensions and new features are quoted as you need them, so you're only ever paying for work you've asked for.

No long contracts, no renewal price hikes.

What happens if Identify stops operating?

A legitimate question for any bespoke software. We've been building custom platforms for UK businesses for over 12 years and have no plans to go anywhere — but contracts include source code escrow arrangements so your platform is protected regardless.

Practically, you'd be in the same position as with any software vendor, with the added protection that the code is yours to move elsewhere if you need to.

Who owns the platform?

We build the platform specifically for you and you use it on a leased basis — similar to how you'd use off-the-shelf software or any other SaaS platform, but without the per-user pricing and without the shared codebase.

The commercial terms are set out clearly in the contract and we'll talk you through exactly what's included before you sign anything.
